Alarmed at the 4 to 8 hour wait time for patients at Howard County General Hospital Emergency Room, the HCCA took action. HCCA members worked with hospital administrators and government officials to reduce wait times. This is just one of many actions we engaged in over the past year.
As one of the outcomes of that initiative, the Howard County Health Department has complied a listing of the different urgent care centers and health clinics in Howard County. Note that the different providers offer varying level of services as well as hours of care. You might want to call ahead to verify that they can handle the reason for your visit.
