On October 22, 2018 the Savage Community Association, partnering with the Howard County Citizens Association, held a forum with county council candidates running in Howard County districts in the Route One corridor. These included Raj Kathuria, Liz Walsh, Opel Jones, John Laio, Christiana Rigby.
