The 2021 HCCA Annual Meeting was held on October 12, 2021 with honored guest speakers: Liz Bobo, former County Executive, State Delegate and County Council Member; Deb Jung, Council Member District 4; and Liz Walsh, Council Member District 1; who discussed Howard County land use and development issues. Presentations were made to show how to support/oppose proposed updates to the General Plan/HoCo By Design. Huge pressures to increase residential density must be balanced with environmental preservation, school capacity needs/APFO, traffic/health needs, and more direct affordable housing goals.
